About Me

Hi, I'm Declan! I built this page to test my Azure skills and to host my resume online.

I'm currently working as an Software and Cloud Engineer at Deloitte Australia, delivering Azure and .NET solutions for clients across multiple industries. My prior experience includes data engineering for energy market clients, with hands-on work involving Azure, Databricks, data ingestion and data modelling.

I hold a Master of Information Technology with Distinction from the University of Melbourne and multiple industry certifications, including Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate and Databricks Data Engineer Associate.

Deloitte

Engineer February 2025 - Present

Delivering enterprise-grade Azure and .NET solutions. Built complex integrations using Logic Apps, Function Apps and API Management for large mining company. Helped design and build Deloitte's internal Azure iPaaS accelerator. Led outdated .NET 4.6 web app system analysis and POC for government client, presenting findings to stakeholders.

Developed and deployed Azure-based data platforms and products for energy industry clients. Worked with Databricks, CI/CD, ETL/ELT, data modelling and data ingestion. Contributed to in-house data platform to enable rapid client deployment.
